The path from first call to first session.

Starting with us is a six-step process that takes about a week from your first call to your kid's first coaching session. No high-pressure pitch. No gatekeeping. The goal of step one is for us to tell you honestly whether we're the right fit — and what to try if we're not.

Schedule a complimentary call

A free 30-minute video call with Dr. Russell or an intake specialist. You tell us about your student — strengths, challenges, what's been tried, what's working, what isn't. We tell you whether Connected Coaching is the right fit. No commitment. No hard sell. You leave with a clear sense of what to do next, even if that's not us.

Register

If we agree it's a fit, you register through our portal. This sets up your family record and unlocks the document upload for the intake.

Upload documents

At least 24 hours before intake, upload the documents that help us understand your kid:
  • Last two years of report cards
  • Any psychoeducational evaluations
  • IEP, 504 plan, or school support plan
  • State testing results, if relevant

Schedule your 90-minute intake

A focused conversation with one of our Intake Specialists covering academic history, health history, and family history. Parents only for students under 18. Conducted via Zoom.

Coach match within 24 hours

We personally match your student to a specific coach based on their needs, interests, and personality — everything that came out of the intake, not a pool and not a waitlist. Your kid gets one coach who stays.

First coaching session — within the week

Set day, set time, weekly thereafter. Most families are in their first session within a week of the intake.

  • If your state has an ESA scholarship $0 out-of-pocket

Direct-bill scholarships available in eight states covering coaching with no out-of-pocket cost. All appointments are scheduled in Eastern Time.
